Digital literacy is a prerequisite to make an organization successful. Top and mid level employees are the core workforces to materialize the vision of an organization. However, these workforces lack required computing skills. The mission of our ICT short course is to enhance their computing skills so that they can contribute with their maximum potential.
As part of the Digital Bangladesh program and Computer Literacy among the people of Bangladesh, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka (CSEDU) is currently running a few short-courses during the weekend. This short course program comprises of courses that are either essential for IT literacy or very much demanding for the current IT education. The courses include:
- Linux OS and Open Office Applications
- Linux System Administration and Configuration
- Web Design and Development
- Database Administration and Management
- Electronic Governance: Understanding and Implementation
- Internet Security
- IPv6 Deployment
The above short courses are offered to graduates only. The classes are held on weekends (Friday and Saturday) from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM. There are 40 hour lectures for each of the courses. The course fee ranges from 5000/- BDT to 8000/- depending on the courses.
